Seattle I

I went to Seattle last year and had a blast combing the city streets. Unfortunately the shots are taken with an older camera, and will less experience. Regardless it should provide a nice look at a the Emerald City.

– Public Market (Back of Sign). The extremely popular Public Market seems to always get photographed from the front.

Excellent Bakery, right near Gasworks Park http://essentialbaking.com/

46th Street Overpass near University Village.

Gas Works Park in Seattle, Washington is a 19.1 acre public park on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant, located on the north shore of Lake Union at the south end of theWallingford neighborhood. Gas Works park contains remnants of the sole remaining coal gasification plant in the US. The plant operated from 1906 to 1956, and was bought by the City of Seattle for park purposes in 1962. The park opened to the public in 1975

Slightly North-East to the plant is a private dock with many House Boats.

This last photo was taken on the Golden Gardens Area Beach, the sounds of the Walrus were hypnotic. Stay tuned for more Seattle, and hopefully soon after, some Utah.
